Our next guest is the amazing Mandy Bingham. Mandy grew up in a musical family. Her father is David McWilliams of ‘Days of Pearly Spencer’ fame but it was not until later in life that Mandy found her musical voice. Together with her lap-steel playing husband, Mandy creates an immersive and intimate live performance. The songs are raw and personal, seeking to navigate the often confusing world around us and to heal her own heart and yours.

We first heard and met Mandy and Graham supporting Malojian for his series of gigs in The American Bar a few years ago and immediately fell in love with the intimacy of the gig and the performers. Those shows in fact are a factor in the inspiration for us doing Teach Ceoil to begin with, the up close and personal nature of those gigs we replicate here, so Mandy and David are in fact a part of our own DNA which makes it especially delightful that we're able to host them, and you.

Mandy is currently recording her highly anticipated second album but of her first one, BURY ME DEEP Folk & tumble said

"She is not just an exceptional lyricist, her voice is crystal clear and as pure as you might ever hear. Yet, what makes each song even more intriguing is that such sweet melodies betray complex themes of disenchantment, disappointment, denial, and betrayal."

We hope you can join us on the 18th of May for this special performer.
